History
Banks Lee Productions was founded in 2004 when good friends Banks Lee and Ryan Brown made an unscripted fake news show called Banks Brown LIVE. Since then the two have made a lot of shorts and shows together, all in association with Ryan's company, Blue Ant Productions.
Banks would continue to make shorts with others, including some with his high school band friends, which were called 'A Film by Some People'. In 2007, Banks moved to Orlando, FL and teamed with friend and Disney co-worker Gary Hainsworth and made one short under the name Lee-Worth Films.
2008 was a big year for Banks Lee Productions. Banks expanding his video talents and worked on projects for community organizations, like the Tex*Rep Annual Meeting. In addition, a new partnership was formed between Banks and writers Emily & Maegan Cokeley called Dead Cotten Films.
In August 2008, Banks returned to Orlando for good, meaning that The Disney Experience could return with new episodes.
2009 is quickly becoming the biggest year for the company. With more Disney videos in the works, including one that has become a major hit within Walt Disney World, Banks is continuing to expand his talents. He is now working with Sam Chen Studios, who took these fantastic headshots on the right, and helping advertise them in his videos. You can check out their link under the Links tab.
Currently, Banks is working on the story for his third scripted short film, an untitled drama, to be shot in Orlando, FL.
